This is my first year coaching with Waverly Shellrock. Prior to this season, I have been the Varsity Head Softball coach at Clarksville and Nashua-Plainfield. I was a DII softball player at Upper Iowa University where I also coached for a year after graduation. Originally a Minnesota native I have a lot of passion for softball and enjoy teaching and learning from others about the game. I am greatly looking forward to being a part of the program and working with such talented young athletes.

I'm the pitching coach for the 2015 Go Hawk softball team. I graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock in 2011 and played softball thoughout my high school career. I then attended Concordia University, St. Paul and played softball there for 2 years before I transferred to UNI. I'm majoring in Public Relations at UNI and will graduate Spring 2016. Besides my passion for softball, I love spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, being outdoors, and I'm also a huge bookworm.

I went to Waverly-Shell Rock High School where I was a 5 year varsity letter winner, 5 time All-Conference, 4 time All-District, 4 time All-State, 2 state qualifier. I was primarily a pitcher, but when I was off the mound I would be found at third base. I graduated in 2011 and went on to play at Luther College for one year. I now attend Wartburg College for Elementary Education.
Ron Reusche
Coach
I was the head baseball coach at Hudson after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 1979. In August of that year, I began teaching and coaching at West Central of Maynard. During that time spent two years as the head baseball coach, and five years as the head softball coach. I also coached junior high girl's basketball and junior high girl's track for twelve years. In May of 1991, I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Drake University, and accepted a position with the Nashua-Plainfield School District that fall. The majority of that time was spent as Middle School Principal and Middle School Athletic Director. During that time, also coached junior high boy's track for seven years, and junior high boy's basketball for three years. Retired from education in May, 2011.
